Well, I am getting very excited for our little getaway. I will be in New Jersey towards the end of this week. I cannot wait to go down there, check out the hotel, sites, Kevin Smith’s Q&A, and just see what else we can find. Jason’s sister is going to watch the kids, so it will be really nice to just have some quality time to ourselves.

I am also getting excited for Knoebel’s next week as well. It should be nice. We are all going down for my mom’s birthday. Hopefully the weather will be nice and co-operate. Things have still been busy at work and it will be nice to just have a few days off. We should be back by Saturday, so Jason may go over to Trev’s house and I will be here with the kids. Tracy may bring Bailey over and then Becky may come with Abby as well, so it will be nice to just hang out and catch up on everything.

We had a nice dinner today. We had a mini Thanksgiving Day feast. We had turkey and all the trimmings. It was delicious and we all enjoyed ourselves. Well, it is late and I have work in the morning, so I better say goodnight and head off. Sweet dreams to all and enjoy reading. Comment if you wish. Bye for now.

 

Well, it has been busy as always. I am getting excited though. We didn’t really go on one big vacation, but we have been talking about little mini-trips. This time next week, Jason and I will actually be on our way down to Red Bank, NJ. We are going to a Q&A with Kevin Smith for his 37th Birthday. It will be awesome. We talked about also going somewhere else on our way back and just spend a day wherever we end up. We are leaning towards NY or CT. I guess we will see what kind of adventure we can find. We are also going to go to Knoebel’sfor my mom’s birthday on Mon. Aug. 6. That should be fun as well.

 Then in a few weeks we are planning to do something with Becky, Jim and Abby. We do not have that finalized as of yet, but getting closer to decisions. Anyway, just wanted to make a quick post. Hopefully I will post more again soon, either before or after the trip. Bye for now!!!

Well, it seems like I have not written a post in quite some time. Things are just so hectic. Work is busy as usual. The kids have been keeping busy, but now that baseball/softball is over, we are able to just do stuff around the house. We have been enjoying the blow-up pool that we bought. It is not too big, but big enouh to just have some fun and stay cool in this warm weather.

I can’t believe that the summer is flying by. I am shocked that it is already July. I am getting excited that only a few more weeks and then Jason and I get away for a few days. It will be so nice. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy spending time with everyone, but it is really nice when I get to spend time without any worries.
